My goal is to serve mother nature and my community through fine art photography. With artistry and technical excellence, my work serves to both educate and inspire a love for the natural world.
My vision starts with the imaginative story, often told through poetry or creative writing assignments. This helps me to settle on themes and pre-visualize my compositions. Using my vision as a guide, I will design a structure for the story, where each photo will tell a section or a chapter. From here, I will plan my locations, season and time of day to fit the narrative. Then, I will journey on location to explore nature and capture my vision using my digital camera for the source photographs. Finally, I create the image from my source photographs staying true to both the natural scene and to my vision.
My foremost passion explores the emotive image that tells a story and reveals interesting facets of nature. The natural world around us provides a garden to both educate and grow. Nature inspires me to capture imaginative worlds in her honor.
